AFRICA- MASAI MARA ( 2 Nights/3 Days)

Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Nairobi / Masai Mara National Reserve

Our representative will pick you up from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport off your morning flight or from your Nairobi City Hotel at 0730 hrs. Pre safari briefing, then depart for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve in your customized safari vehicle. You will enjoy a short photographic stop over as you drive down the wall of the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. This evening, you will enjoy you first game drives.

The Masai Mara whose Ecosystem is a southern extension to Serengeti National Park offers the discerning traveler a life time opportunity to experience wild nature at its best. Your amazing Mara experience starts here with a possibility of spotting some if not all of THE BIG 5 among several other wildlife and bird species.

This reserve’s open Savannah abound with game density, prolific bird life as well as the annual wildebeest migration involving millions of Wildebeests and Zebras which takes place every year between July and October. This reserve is home to the BIG 5, which are Lions, Leopards, Buffalo’s, Rhinos and Elephants amongst several other animal species. Bird life is also prolific in the reserve with over 450 bird species having being recorded as residents of this reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge / tented camp.

Day 2 – Masai Mara National Reserve

You will enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives at dawn and dusk respectively when the wildlife is very active. You may also opt for a near full day game drive, departing the lodge with packed lunches with the day spent in the vast park in search of wild animal sightings.

Our experienced guide with good geographical knowledge of this vast reserve will be trying to spot the animals that you may have missed the previous day. Rest of the day spent at leisure in your lodge relaxing and you can optionally visit a Masai Village. All meals and overnight stay at your lodge / tented camp.

Day 3– Masai Mara / Nairobi / Depart

Breakfast will be served from 0630 hrs. Board your vehicle at 0730 hrs and drive back to Nairobi. Lunch will be on own account at a restaurant. (Time allowing, we will drop you at either The Carnivore Restaurant / similar). We will then transfer you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your evening or overnight flight to your next destination. (We recommend flight from 1600 hrs onwards)
